Education

Education works here. Buffalo Niagara is home to 15 four-year colleges and universities, and 20 two-year colleges. With over 111,000 students enrolled, our colleges and universities graduate more than 28,000 students each year. Many of our graduates stay here in Buffalo Niagara, giving our region's employers an abundance of well-educated, work-ready individuals to draw on.

Think college town. The arts and cultural opportunities, sports teams, and ample retailers and restaurants to socialize at make Buffalo Niagara feel like a great college town, full of students who want to live, study and work in a vibrant community. And even while they're still in schools, all those students are an important part of our workforce.

Think educated. The region is widely known for educating educators. (That's what helps make our region's primary and secondary schools so great.)

Think unique. Unique-to-the-region programs offer employers an abundance of well educated individuals to draw upon. Our academic opportunities pave the way for the workforce of the future.
