Getting Around Buffalo Niagara 

Getting around Buffalo Niagara offers many modes of transportation and easy routes to get you anywhere in the region you want to go:

  • Rochester or Syracuse, New York in two hours or less.
  • Toronto, Ontario, and several other destinations in Canada in two hours or less.
  • The New York State Thruway system includes tolls that can be paid with either cash or an E-Z Pass.
  • The Buffalo Niagara Airport offers nonstop service to 23 airports.
  • The Niagara Falls International Airport offers 24-hour service, with 24-hour CFR service, excellent access to inspection agencies, and price-competitive landing fees.
  • The Metro Bus and Metro Rail offers public transportation for the Cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
  • VIA Rail Canada provides travel between Niagara Falls and Toronto.
  • Amtrak runs daily along several major statewide and national routes, providing an easy alternative to driving or flying.
