Niagara County
Niagara County is located in the north-west corner of New York State. The primary geographic feature of the county is Niagara Falls. The Niagara River and Niagara Falls connect the Great Lakes, the largest supply of fresh water in the world. Visitors to the Falls see only half of the natural water flow since the other half has been appropriated for hydroelectric power purposes.
