When I relocated here with my family from Washington, DC ten years ago, the only expectation we had was of long, snowy winters.

What we found were welcoming neighbors and colleagues, great schools and wonderful communities. There are four distinct seasons and countless ways to enjoy them. World-class art abounds and the region has an historic richness that is unrivaled in most American cities.

In Buffalo Niagara, cultural activities stimulated our minds - while the sports teams won our hearts.

And without long commutes and day-to-day hassles of "big city" life, there is time to enjoy all the region has to offer. It is like finding a few extra hours every day.

I knew I would have great opportunities to grow professionally wherever life took me. My life works in Buffalo Niagara because the balance I have found here enables me to grow personally, too.
