Welcome to Buffalo Niagara

Whether you’re from out of town, out of state, or out of the country, Buffalo Niagara thrives on new faces. Since 1999, we have helped more than 300 American, Canadian and international companies relocate and establish operations in Buffalo Niagara. They’ve recognized what we’ve known all along: that Buffalo Niagara is a region where life and business work.

How viable a location is it?

Buffalo Niagara is a strategic location here in Western New York—we’re on the Canadian border; and within 500 miles of 40 percent of the U.S. population. Our waterfront, touching Lakes Erie and Ontario, plus Niagara Falls, makes us a shipping and logistics hub, and provides our sustainable energy and plentiful water. Our in-place infrastructure completes the metropolitan area’s reach, with highway systems, transportation, utilities, school and technology. (Buffalo was ranked among the Top 25 Un-Wired Cities in the U.S.)

Who will I find there?

We don’t just have Great Lakes and great infrastructure, we have great minds who are studying and researching at our colleges and universities. New York State’s Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics is located here as well, as is the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the nation’s first comprehensive cancer research center. No matter the profession, Buffalo Niagara is hope to a highly productive, skilled workforce, with a well-deserved reputation for an unbeatable work ethic.
