Tony Kurdziel came to Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE) in early 2010 after having spent three years as an economic development specialist at Jones Lang Lasalle in Chicago. While working for the international commercial real estate firm, Tony exclusively represented the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) and helped manufacturers, logistics providers and agricultural companies expand their BNSF-served facilities. Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Tony was a market analyst in the CB Richard Ellis Buffalo office where he supported the Industrial Services team on site selection for industrial clients and authored the group’s annual Industrial MarketView report.

It was a natural fit, then, for Tony to specialize in the Logistics/Distribution & Clean Tech/Manufacturing Industries on BNE’s business development team.

Tony earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University at Buffalo. Throughout his adult life, he has devoted much of his free time to community service, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Chicago Cares, Americorps VISTA and Buffalo’s Central Terminal Restoration Corporation.

“After several years in Chicago, I moved back to Buffalo and immediately recognized how much easier it is to enjoy life here. I have all the conveniences of city life, while being a brief drive away from ski resorts, beautiful state parks and Canada.”
