Graham Smith

Research Director

As the Director of Research for Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE), Graham Smith supports BNE’s business development and marketing efforts with accurate, up-to-date, and insightful research on the Buffalo Niagara region. Businesses can easily access this research on the BNE website through interactive tools like the Incentives Database, clickable regional summaries, Buffalo Niagara Labor Market Assessments, Wage and Salary Reports, and more. Much of the research generated by Graham’s department is truly ahead of the curve, such as the GIS-based commercial real estate listing system (CLS), a searchable database only available in the Buffalo Niagara region. The department also provides industry-specific research on agribusiness, life sciences, back office, and other established and emerging industries.

Graham has more than nine years of experience in economic development focused on economic and market research. Prior to joining BNE, he was a Performance Analyst at Manning & Napier Information Services. He is a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals and a graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
