Buffalo Niagara Enterprise Officially Welcomes
Executive AirShare to Western New York

Fractional Aircraft Ownership Launches Service At Buffalo Niagara International Airport

BUFFALO, N.Y. --- Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, joined by local officials and representatives from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, today officially welcomed Kansas City, Mo.-based Executive AirShare to its new home at Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony staged in front of an Embraer Phenom 100 , a King Air 350 and vintage aircraft.

Executive AirShare, a regional fractional aircraft ownership company, signed a long-term lease in October for a 27,000 square-foot hangar and 4,400 square feet of office space at the airport and operates an Embraer Phenom 100 entry level jet, and a Beechcraft King Air 350 for fractional owners based in the Great Lakes/Mid-Atlantic region. The company’s wholly owned aircraft management subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, offers management and maintenance services for aircraft owners based at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Buffalo executive David L. Jones, who joined Executive AirShare as regional vice president earlier this year, will oversee business development and operations for Executive AirShare and Executive Flight Services in the Great Lakes/Mid-Atlantic region.

“We are very pleased to welcome Executive Airshare and their investment of $9 million and creation of 13 new jobs to the Buffalo Niagara region,” said Thomas A. Kucharski, President and CEO of Buffalo Niagara Enterprise who assisted the company with their expansion project.  “Their selection of the Buffalo Niagara community marks another great chapter in our region’s rich air industry history, and it validates our standing as a community with strong regional assets like market access and superior transportation amenities.”

“We are excited about joining the Buffalo Niagara business community and look forward to serving users of corporate aircraft throughout mid-state New York and southern Ontario from Buffalo,” said Executive AirShare President and Chief Operating Officer Keith D. Plumb. “We are confident that the many benefits of our regional fractional program—such as avoiding airline delays, controlling your own schedule, accessing more convenient airport and getting home in time for important family events—will help executives and business leaders in the area grow their businesses and improve productivity and quality of life.”

In addition to Buffalo, Executive AirShare serves shareowners in the Central U.S., operating a fleet of Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 and Beechjet 400A jet aircraft, and Beechcraft King Air 350 and C90B turboprop aircraft for shareowners in Kansas City, Mo., Wichita, Kan., Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Fort Worth and Dallas. Its subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, manages aircraft for owners from bases in Fort Worth, Dallas, Wichita, Kansas City and Buffalo.

Executive AirShare, the world’s leading operator of Embraer Phenom jet aircraft, launched its unique regional fractional aircraft ownership program in 2001, with pilots and aircraft based in the same cities as their owners. Shareowners fly in their own aircraft the majority of the time, with aircraft available on a per-day basis, ensuring a service that most closely replicates that of full ownership at a fraction of the cost and without the management responsibilities.
Executive AirShare currently operates a fleet of Phenom 300 and 100, Beechjet 400A, King Air 350 and C90B aircraft. Executive AirShare also offers aircraft management and charter services through its subsidiary, Executive Flight Services.
