Weekend Go Train Service Begins to Falls

Weekend Go Train Service Begins to Falls
Monday, May 23, 2011
Weekend Go Train service started to Niagara Falls on Saturday, and local officials say they hope it’s a sign of more extensive service to come.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that about 400 passengers arrived from Toronto on daytrips on Saturday.
Kim Craitor, who represents Niagara Falls in the provincial Parliament, says that the heavy passenger load is proof that year-round Go Train service would be successful.
"They're coming here because this is a place to come, we have so many things to offer,” Craitor said.
