Premier Endorses Niagara Go Train

Ontario’s premier says he would rather expand Go Train service to the Niagara Region than build another expressway.

The Niagara Falls Review reports that Dalton McGuinty said Go Train service to St. Catharines and Niagara Falls “is simply a matter of time.”

But McGuinty said that he is not in favor of a proposed mid-peninsula expressway. “We don’t think it’s warranted at this time,” he said.
