The inaugural event will feature a presentation of the “Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2011 Report”—a publication from PricewaterhouseCoopers and ULI—as well as a session on the outlook for the upstate New York region, including a panel of leading area real estate investors and experts.

Emerging Trends in Real Estate ® is a trends and forecast publication with a 32-year history, and is the most highly-regarded and widely-read forecast report in the real estate industry.

“Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2011” undertaken jointly by PricewaterhouseCoopers and ULI, provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues. The report draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers, and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from over 500 real estate executives and personal interviews with over 125 industry leaders.

The ULI New York presentation of “Upstate Trends in Real Estate” will include a presentation of the “Emerging Trends 2011” report on behalf of ULI and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and then a moderated response panel, including:
  -  Dean Schwanke, Executive Director, ULI Center for Capital Markets and Real Estate
  -  Mark J. Czarnecki, President, M & T Bank Corporation
  -  V. Jeffrey LiPuma, Managing Partner, CB Richard Ellis, Buffalo Office
  -  Thomas Kucharski, President & CEO, Buffalo Niagara Enterprise
  -  and a distinguished member of the Governor’s administration!

The top-tier industry panel will provide up-to-the-minute analysis of the impact of the programs and policies of the state government, likely behaviors of the capital markets over the coming year, what lending and equity environments may be, the projections of the future of upstate businesses, and their sense of investment opportunities in 2011.  This will be a lively discussion by some of the most experienced leaders in the industry.  A complimentary copy of the 2011 Emerging Trends in Real Estate ® Report will be available to all attendees.
