Tim Hortons Fundraiser to Aid Hospital Foundation

For the ninth straight year, Tim Hortons is seeking to raise money for Women & Children’s Hospital Foundation of Buffalo through the restaurant chain’s smile cookie fundraiser, which kicks off today.

While supplies last, patrons of the restaurant will be able to buy special smiling oversized chocolate chip cookies for $1 each, plus tax. Proceeds from the cookies will benefit Women & Children’s Hospital Foundation.

In 2009, Tim Hortons announced a goal of raising $500,000 over a five-year period to assist with the construction of the Tim Hortons Children’s Center for Injury Care and Prevention. Last year’s smiling cookie fundraiser raised $380,000 for the foundation.
