Ellicottville, NY Fall Fest
October 9th and 10th, 2010
Referred to by some as “Oktoberfest,” Fall Fest is Ellicottville’s oldest and largest Festival when the foliage of the surrounding hills is ablaze with color. Tens of thousands of festival goers make for a lively weekend of unique foods, an arts and Crafts Show, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more.
Rated a top choice for skiing, winter sports and après ski fun, Ellicottville is just as lively in the fall season, when you can hike, bike and golf on the rolling hills. Two ski resorts, Holiday Valley and Holimont, specialize in family fun as well as romantic getaways.
Nestled in the heart of the Enchanted Mountains, Ellicottville is both a charming village and a cosmopolitan town. Stroll along tree-lined Main Street to take in the friendly vibe and 19th-century architecture. Then visit international shops, restaurants and galleries that mingle with clubs where you can dance the night away.
Ellicottville is located 1 hour south of Buffalo and 2 1/2 hours from Toronto, Canada.
