Enjoy Fresh Fall Treats!

Along with viewing the beautiful fall foliage, October is the best month for apple and pumpkin picking. According to the New York Apple Association, New York State averages 25 million bushels of production annually. In the Buffalo area alone, there are 52 apple orchards. Fall is the perfect time of year to taste the many local varieties, including Macintosh, Braeburn and Gala.  Many Western New York Farms are open to the public for u-pick fruits and vegetables or fresh baked cookies.  Many great locales host family-friendly festivals and events in the fall, including:
