Computer Task Group Inc. is once again one of the largest health-care information-technology providers.
Healthcare Informatics magazine listed the Buffalo-based IT solutions and services company as the 69th largest company among the top 100 healthcare IT providers and the seventh largest company generating 100 percent of its 2009 healthcare provider revenue from consulting services.
CTG also appeared on the magazine’s 2009 Healthcare Informatics list. The current list, based on 2009 healthcare IT revenue, appears in the June 2010 issue of the magazine, which focuses on system selection, project management, enterprise integration, change management and budgeting.
Healthcare systems and services accounted for 27 percent of CTG’s total revenue in 2009, chairman and CEO James Boldt said. Specifically, projects dealing with electronic medical records are the key growth area, accounting for 11 percent of the company’s total revenue for the first quarter of 2010, Boldt said.
CTG is a publicly-traded company. Its stock price closed June 16 at $8.02 per share, down from its 12-month high of $9.58 per share
