Ex-Bills President/GM Sells Amherst Home

Former Buffalo Bills President and General Manager Tom Donahoe has sold his Eggertsville home.

Donahoe and his wife, Mary Margaret, sold their LeBrun Road home for $1,165,000, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office. The home was bought by Barry and Tracey Heneghan.

The sale price was 30 percent, or $270,000, above what the Donahoes paid for the house when purchased in November 2001. It was one of the highest priced residential real estate deals of that year.

Donahoe was the Buffalo Bills president and general manager from 2001 until he was let go by the team following the 2005 season.

Even after his firing from the Bills, Donahoe remained in the area and was frequently seen at Nichols School sporting events where his two children attended. Donahoe has been a member of the Nichols board of trustees and served as its treasurer.
