Home > About BNE > Press Room > 2010 Archive > July > ElectroSonic's Grand Opening in Riverview Solar Technology Park ElectroSonic's Grand Opening in Riverview Solar Technology Park   ElectroSonic of America LLC officially opened their new 65,000 square foot state of the art facility at the Riverview Solar Technology Park in the Town of Tonawanda on June 10th,  before a crowd of over 100 dignitaries, customers and employees including Erie County Executive Chris Collins and Town of Tonawanda Supervisor Anthony Caruana.  ElectroSonic, a nearly 60 year old family owned company headquartered in Toronto, is one of North America's leading electronic and electrical components distributors, shipping over three quarters of a million items annually to over 16,000 customers.   Just six months after investing $20 million in their new, highly automated facility, the company has already exceeded their original target of 50 new employees.   ElectroSonic owner and Managing Director Joel Rosenthal and President Eric Taylor both cited the strong support from Buffalo Niagara's business community and collaboration among public and private partners as key to their decision to invest here.  Congratulations and welcome to Joel, Eric and the entire team at ElectoSonic .
