By Allissa Kline
Trocaire College plans to offer a new evening program in human resource management.
Starting in fall 2010, students can earn a certificate or associate degree in the field. It is the second new program announced recently by the college, which announced over the winter that it will offer its first four-year degree next fall.
To receive the certificate, students must attend full-time to complete all human resources and business core courses in one year. The associate degree program will span two years and include general education courses. Both options include internship opportunities.
Business core courses will be taught at Trocaire’s Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business on Transit Road. Liberal arts courses are taught at the main Trocaire campus on Choate Avenue in South Buffalo.
