Empire Genomics signs 2 deals
Nov-25-2008 — Two new partnerships are expected to boost contracts at a Buffalo life sciences firm. Empire Genomics LLC, which offers genetic tests for more than 200 ailments and diseases, signed an alliance with Strategic Medicine of Windber, Pa., to provide products and services for the personalized medicine market. Strategic Medicine provides human tissue, patient data and biomedical informatics to support research in pharmaceutical and health-care markets.

To do so, NYPA President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Kessel said, would include use of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and transmitting hydropower from Canada, which then would be redistributed.
