BNE Hopes Tournament Will Attract New Business

BUFFALO (2007-03-15) The Buffalo-Niagara Enterprise is already hard at work, trying to drum up new business for Buffalo and WNY during
the N-C-A-A men's basketball tournaments.

B-N-E executives and staff won't have time to enjoy this weekend's
roundball action at H-S-B-C Arena. Instead, they plan to sit down
with some of the movers and shakers arrriving in town for the games.

The B-N-E will be concentrating much of their attention on three writers for national publications that deal with the life sciences industry. Buffalo, of course, is banking much of its future on
life sciences with the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus, Hauptman Research and other research institutions.

Officials hope the visitors like what they see, say so in the national publications; so that, perhaps, someday a C-E-O of a research institution
will give Buffalo a second or third look when deciding to build, expand, or re-locate.
